Aliza’s decade-plus of hands-on building experience and a deep dedication to craftsmanship rooted in both structure and soul is a great addition to the team. After an early career in restaurants and outdoor education, Aliza found their way to building through the Comprehensive Homebuilding Course at Heartwood and advanced timber framing studies at Fox Maple. Since then, they’ve been focused on creating homes that embody integrity, efficiency, warmth, and beauty.
 

Originally from Central Vermont, Aliza grew up between Plainfield and Calais and feels most at home deep in the backcountry. Whether gaining elevation in the Greens, Whites, or Adirondacks, riding endless gravel miles, or freediving through kelp forests, they’re always chasing depth, literally and figuratively.
