Al holds a bachelor's degree in Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Education and Sustainable Community Development. She joined the trades 8 years ago, after working in the environmental and educational fields. Al brings a systems thinking approach to her work and has experience in many aspects of interior and exterior renovations. She is most interested in finish trim work, framing, and working with sustainable materials.

 

She is drawn to work with Lewis Creek and be in the Design-Build world in general, because of her love of understanding systems, and working within a company and field that approaches its work as being part of a whole and not isolated from the other trades and environmental factors. Working as a part of a team that works to satisfy all aspects of a project is one of the most important things to her, to create a quality product that people can live their lives in for years to come.
 
She was born in Massachusetts but moved to Vermont over 15 years ago for the commitment that the state has to its community and conservation. Currently residing in Burlington with her sweet, spicy, and intense dog, Clove. Outside of work, you can find her on the rugby field, hunting or fishing, or maybe on a hiking trail.
